The Problem

The problems that we are addressing in Botswana are AIDS and HIV. AIDS is a chronic and life threatening condition that is caused by HIV. HIV is a disease that interferes with the body's ability to fight and kill the organisms that can cause diseases.

​Botswana has the 3rd highest HIV prevalence in the world  at and outstanding 21.9%. Although there are already different programs that are working hard to help decrease the prevalence of HIV in Botswana, there is still a very high amount of cases in the adult population at a shocking 22.2%.
